We are proud to offer a wide selection of the world's
highest quality seafood. We can assist you

The harvesting and processing of New Zealand
seafood is strictly regulated to ensure the highest standard
of environmental sustainability, food safety and quality. Our
factories are government licensed and all at-sea and onshore
facilities are regularly inspected and monitored
in compliance with applicable national and international standards.
Fish
The majority
of our commercial inshore and deep-sea fish harvesting
occurs within the pollution-free
deep blue waters of New Zealand's
200
mile Exclusive Economic Zone.
This remote
pristine ocean region extends from the sub-tropic
Southern Pacific Ocean to the extreme cold subantarctic
waters, 25 to 55° latitude South.
|
|
|
Harvesting of inshore species extends to
the edge of New Zealand's continental shelf at a depth of 200m.
Fish from these waters are landed fresh to one of our four
fish processing factories that are strategically located
throughout New Zealand's South Island. By operating 24 hours
daily, you are assured of the freshest quality seafood
products.
Our Nelson-based Deep Sea Division
Deep-sea species from the pure cold waters of the subantarctic
are trawled at depths ranging from 200 to 1200 metres. This
Division specialises in freezer trawler operations and the production
of 'frozen at sea' products.
Our main fish species include:

Shellfish
Cockles, Oysters and Scallops, harvested
from the sparkling clear waters of New Zealand's Tasman and
Golden Bay, are harvested and delivered daily to our nearby
factories for immediate processing.
|
|
Oysters and
Scallops are opened, cleaned, graded and either blast
frozen or delivered fresh daily to ensure their full,
succulent flavour is retained. There
is no soaking or glazing, or artificial additives used
in this process, which means you get 100% shellfish.
Cockles are processed in the
shell and exported fresh or frozen.
|
Greenshell mussels are cultivated throughout
the pristine waters of New Zealand's Marlborough
Sounds and Golden Bay. They are grown
on a blend of company and privately owned mussel farms. Mussels
are harvested and delivered to our local factories where they
are cleaned, processed, graded, inspected, and blast frozen
or marinated before final packaging. This ensures the best
quality product for your customers.
