About the role

We are currently looking for Food Process Workers to join the team at our Ashburton Vegetable plant.

You will be working on 12-hour shifts, Day/Night as directed.

Line staff:

• Inspecting and grading products during processing

• Assisting washdowns

• You will be working on a 4 ON 4 OFF roster or as directed

• Pay rate starts from $23/hr

Trainee Operators:

• Operating machines in the Production & Packout area
• Assisting washdowns

• You will be working on a 4 ON 4 OFF roster or as directed
• Pay rate starts from $24.20/hr

Forklift Operators:

• Having a FOSH Certificate is essential, but the ability to drive safely is also essential

• Forklift roles vary from stacking pallets/ bins and working in our Cold Store to loading trucks or containers

• You must be physically fit, have good English and math skills, and have attention to detail

• Adhering to our food safety and health & safety standards is a must, as well as the ability to work alone or as part of a team

• You will be working on a 4 ON 4 OFF roster

• The pay rate ranges between $25.70/hr - $29.50/hr

General Hands:

• You will be physically fit and able to multitask

• The role may include stacking cartons, tipping the hopper, helping with cut opens and cleaning the lines, building bins or even product inspection and quality

• Food safety and health & safety are also part of your day-to-day role

• Pay rate starts from $23/hr

Good communication skill in English is a must.
