About the role

We are looking for enthusiastic and hardworking people to join our Packout Teams at our Ashburton vegetable plant.

This is a full-time role; we operate on a 4 ON 4 OFF roster with 12-hour shifts and will be working Day or Night as directed. Remuneration will be based on experience.

As a general hand, you will be responsible for:

• Record production information,
• Stacking cartons up to 16kg, feeding product to hoppers in our packing lines and mixing vegetables in our mixed Vege plant.
• Communication with departments involved when there is an issue.
• Complying with HACCP, Food Safety, Quality and Health and safety

For this role, you’ll need:

• Interest in working in a fast-paced environment,
• Ability to multitask and record production information.
• Speaking and reading basic English is a must.
• Good understanding of H&S, environmental and food safety,
• To be physically fit to lift weights and work for 12 hours on a shift.
