About the role

We are currently looking for a dynamic and highly skilled HR Administrator to join the team at our Ashburton branch supporting our Site HR Manager.

This is a full-time role, working Monday-Friday 08:00 – 17:00.

You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day administration, recruitment, documentation, and event planning for the Human Resources Department.

As an HR Administrator, you will be responsible for:

  • You will be the key person supporting the HR Manager in achieving the organisations HR objectives.
  • Recruitment and all related tasks, and liaising with Department Managers.
  • Induction and onboarding, documentation, and maintaining personnel files.
  • Processing all administration and maintaining registers.
  • Reporting weekly and monthly accurately and on time.
  • Providing data to Site HR Manager regarding leave, absenteeism, and trends.
  • Completing various projects/tasks assigned by management.
  • Organising and coordinating events when requested.
  • Organising and conducting pre-employment and random drug tests.
  • Assisting with audits.

  • You will have a desire to serve our managers and employees sometimes at short notice
  • Your sense of humour will serve you well in our friendly and fun environment

For this role, you’ll need:

  • A minimum of 5 years office administration intermediate experience
  • Experience and knowledge in Human Resource administration would be an advantage.
  • Intermediate plus experience in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook. Other platforms an advantage.
