About the role

We're looking for a Logistics & Sales Support to join the team at our Nelson site. Reporting to the Logistics Manager, you will manage a portfolio of logistics operations in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. The successful candidate will manage the end-to-end supply chain for multiple Talley’s sites, and be responsible for delivering the right product, to the right customer, using the best solution.

As a Logistics & Sales Support, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the sales team and freight managers with orders, pro-forma and freight invoices, shipments, and payments
  • Entering and managing logistics data in Export Manager
  • Ensuring containers and vessels are booked for customer orders, producing relevant documentation, and considering customer delivery requirements.
  • Monitoring site container loading plans to ensure they meet required deadlines
  • Communicating to the land transport providers to ensure the required transport solution is delivered efficiently
  • Updating customers and sales team on consignments/orders
  • Effectively communicating with the factory and cool store regarding orders

Who are you?

You’re a motivated self-starter looking for a new adventure. You have a positive attitude, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and are honest, reliable, and willing to learn.

For this role, you’ll need:

  • Exceptional organisational and communication skills to effectively manage workload and prioritise
  • To be process-orientated and a logical thinker with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong focus on customer service and managing multiple internal & external stakeholders
  • Proficient multitasking abilities, and resilience to work well under pressure
  • Prior experience in a logistics environment would be advantageous
