About the role

We are taking expressions of interest for our coming harvest seasons, starting early November 2024 till the February / March 2025.

The pay rate ranges from $28.39 - $35.89/hour, with a generous night shift allowance.

You will be working on “6-on, 1-off pattern”, working 12-hour shifts, on either day or night shift (preferred).

As a Harvest Operator, you will be responsible for:

  • Operation of our modern harvesters.
  • Adhering to our Health, Safety and Well Being Policies.
  • Daily upkeep and cleanliness of the equipment.
  • Completion of Machine checks and recording.
  • Full training provided.

We have further opportunities post-harvest during our potato storage season (mid-March through mid-June).

For this role, you’ll need:

  • Background and interest in agriculture
  • Class 2 (Full) NZ license with W endorsement (or international equivalent), for our modern self-propelled harvesters (we can help you obtain the W endorsement for the right candidate)
  • Class 4 (Full) with W endorsement for our tractor (we can help you obtain the W endorsement for the right candidate)
