About the role

The Purchasing Support ensures efficient office operations and supports business goals through effective purchasing administration. Key responsibilities include maintaining professionalism, a positive attitude, and team focus. The role involves handling operational tasks to meet deliverables and providing high-level service to vessels.

As a Provedoring Support, you will be responsible for:

  • Data entry - Delivery docketing/receipting inwards goods
  • Work cooperatively with the provedoring team to ensure vessels are stocked promptly and accurately
  • Assist staff with their purchasing needs and queries
  • Receive orders from outside companies
  • Ensure all e-mails are read and answered in a professional and timely manner.
  • Stock control between stock, site, and vessels
  • Daily reconciliation of fuel on the wharf and public wharf
  • Forklift duties
  • Support Inward good deliveries when the product arrives.
  • Ensure a service is provided to the vessels.
  • Engagement to deliver outcomes to our vessels.
  • Planning and Organising: Establishing systems to ensure work is completed efficiently (systematic, organised, attention to detail, and ability to multitask).

You are a self-starter looking for a new adventure. You have a positive attitude, enjoy working hard and are honest, reliable, and willing to learn.

For this role, you’ll need:

  • Customer focus – making customers and their needs a primary focus
  • Time management – Plans and effectively implements work activities and prioritises workload
  • Open communication approach
  • Attention to detail
  • Teamwork - The ability to behave in a cooperative and supportive manner within a team by actively contributing whilst remaining flexible to the needs of others.
  • Maintaining a high standard of performance
  • A forklift license is desirable but not essential
