Quality Control Assistant

We have a position available for a Quality Control Assistant to join our busy QA team at our Fairton Plant, located 10 minutes’ drive from Ashburton. This is a fixed term position covering maternity leave until August 2021.

This role is a vital link within our process and requires someone that can work individually and as part of a dynamic team.

The successful candidate will:

Have extensive food industry experience
Have excellent communication skills
Be analytically minded
Be able to make technical decisions in a fast-paced environment
Be pro-active and motivated
Be a team player
Have basic computer skills
Have experience in calibrations
Have experience in physical, chemical, and microbiology testing and sampling
Sound knowledge of quality systems Including: HACCP based Food Safety Program
