About the role

We are currently looking for a Drygoods Forklift Operator to join the team at our Ashburton site.

You will be working on a shift roster pattern 4 ON 4 OFF, 12-hour shifts and will be working on night shift. A night shift allowance of $22.50 per shift will be paid for any nights worked.

Based on your experience and qualification. The pay rate will range between $24.65 - $26.20 per hour.

As a Drygoods Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for:

• Handling goods in a warehouse, including receiving, storing, and dispatching correctly and accurately
• Also operating machinery, managing inventory
• Loading and unloading delivery vehicles
• Capturing relevant data in data processing systems
• Computer literate with capability in email, MS Office, MS Teams

For this role, you’ll need:

• F- Endorsement or Osh Licence and be a competent forklift driver. For the right candidate training can be provided.
• Previous experience and exposure to a similar inventory-controlled environment is preferred.
• Highly organised, Strong attention to detail.
• Resilient, pragmatic, and proactive.
• Ability to self-manage and use initiative.
