About the Role

We’re on the lookout for a detail-driven, motivated Payroll Administrator to join our high-performing team at the Motueka site. If you love working with numbers, thrive on precision, and enjoy being part of a supportive and energetic environment, this full-time role (Monday to Friday, 8 am – 5 pm) could be your perfect next step.

As our Payroll Administrator, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring our people are paid accurately and on time—every time. Your day-to-day will include:

  • Inputting and managing payroll data
  • Setting up new employees, and removing terminated employees in the payroll system
  • Assisting with the preparation and processing of weekly payroll
  • Resolving payroll quires with clarity and professionalism
  • Liaising with external agencies (IRD, WINZ, MASD, MOJ) and completing required forms
  • Pitching in with other administrative and payroll – related tasks as needed

What you’ll bring to the team

  • Previous experience in payroll (ideal, but not essential for the right fit)
  • Solid MS Office skills
  • Strong communication skills - both written and verbal
  • Top notch attention to detail
  • The ability to work independently, solve problems, and keep things moving
  • Confidence in building relationships across all levels of the business
  • A positive attitude and a team – first mindset, and a great sense of humour !
