About the role

Talley’s Ltd is looking for someone to fill the role of a Claim Manager, providing support to our injured employees within the Injury Management Unit, based at the Nelson site. We are open to considering both part-time and full-time applicants.

The Injury Management Unit is tasked with the rewarding role of managing the workplace injury claims under the ACC Accredited Employer Programme, for both Talley’s Ltd and AFFCO Holdings Ltd.

As Claims Manager, you will be responsible for:

    • Providing supportive claim management for injured employees.
    • Facilitating rehabilitation interventions for workplace accidents.
    • Providing excellent customer service to both employees and external treatment providers, including medical professionals.
    • Representation of the company within review hearings.
    • Support of the Health and Safety teams at our nationwide sites

To be considered for this role, you will possess excellent communication skills, and be able to build a rapport with people from all walks of life. Your ability to work autonomously, whilst also using your initiative, will supplement the role greatly. You will be a team player, supportive and inclusive. Your knowledge of the health sector will enhance your ability to grasp the role efficiently and give you room to grow as an employee. Preferably, you will have case management or rehabilitation experience.

Full training will be provided to the successful candidate.
